GLASGOW
The Glasgow Distillery Company adopts its name from one of Glasgow’s original distilleries. In 1770, The Glasgow Distillery Company was founded at Dundashill and remained active until consequent closure at the beginning of the 20th Century.
In 2014 The Glasgow Distillery Company re-opened becoming the first Single Malt Whisky Distillery in Glasgow for over 100 years.
GLENALLACHIE
The Glenallachie distillery was built in 1967 by Mackinlay McPherson. She is a malt whisky distillery in Aberlour. The distillery is owned by Chivas Brothers, itself part of Pernod-Ricard. It mainly produces whisky for blends, and also releases 2 official bottlings at cask strength, one of 16 and one of 18 years old.
The distillery draws its water from sping fed and snow water fed streams on Ben Rinnes. It uses lightly peated malts.
GLENBURGIE / GLENCRAIG
Glenburgie, also known as also known as Glenburgie-Glenlivet, Glen Burgie or Glenburry is a whisky distillery near Alves, Moray. There are mentions of a distillery being founded as early as 1810, then known as Kilnflat. The distillery was completely rebuilt in 2003-2004, only retaining the stills from the old distillery.

Most of the whisky distilled at Glenburgie is used for blends, most importantly Ballantine's, but also Old Smuggler.
GLENCADAM
The Glencadam Distillery was founded in 1825. The distillery is presently owned by Angus Dundee plc. Angus Dundee plc /owner of the Tomintoul Distillery/ owned Glencadam Distillery in 2003.
Glencadam Malt Whisky is available in a range of official bottlings aged 10 to 21 years, as a component of Ballantine's and Stewart's Cream of the Barley blended whiskies, Angus Dundee's own blended and vatted whiskies, and in a number of other blended brands.
GLENDRONACH
The distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardes. She is located near Forgue, by Huntly, Aberdeenshire, in the Speyside whisky district. In 1996 the distillery was mothballed and reopened again in 2001 by the BenRiach Distillery Company.
he distillery draws its water from the Dronac burn within the distillery grounds. It has its own floor maltings and two wash stills in addition to two spirit stills.
GLENDULLAN
Glendullan is established in 1897. Glendullan is a single malt Scotch whisky, produced at the Glendullan Distillery in the Speyside region. Glendullan is owned by Diageo.
Glendullan distillery's water source is Conval Hill springs. There are three wash stills and three spirit stills.
GLENFARCLAS
Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. The distillery was first granted a license in 1836 when it was run by Robert Hay. Since 2006 Glenfarclas has been distributed in the UK by Pol Roger Ltd.
he distillery has approximately 50,000 casks maturing on site, in traditional dunnage warehouses, with stock from every year from 1952 to the current year. Glenfarclas produce a traditional Speyside malt with a heavy sherry influence.
GLENFIDDICH
The Glenfiddich distillery is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery owned by William Grant & Sons in Dufftown, Scotland and was founded in 1886. Later, W. Grant & Sons was one of the first distilleries to package its bottles in tubes and gift tins.
From 1957 packaged their whisky in distinctive triangular bottles. Glenfiddich accounts for about 35% of single malt sales.
GLENGLASSAUGH
The Glenglassaugh distillery is located in a picturesque site just outside the Speyside region in Northeast Scotland, close to the small town of Portsoy. The distillery was established in 1875 by a local entrepreneur James Moir and his two nephews, Alexander and William Morrison. Following a complete refurbishment by the new owners the distillery was re-opened on 24 November 2008 by the First Minister for Scotland Alex Salmond MSP. From 2013 owner is Bruichladdich.
The whisky from this distillery had traditionally been used in the production of renowned blended whiskies such as Cutty Sark, Laing's, and The Famous Grouse.
GLENGOYNE
Glengoyne distillery is a whisky distillery continuously in operation since its founding in 1833 at Dumgoyne, north of Glasgow, Scotland. In April 2003, Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd. acquired Glengoyne Distillery, and the 'Glengoyne Single Malt' and 'Langs Blended Whisky' brands.
Glengoyne is regularly referred to as the "most beautiful distillery in Scotland". Operating capacity Glengoyne produces over one million litres of pure spirit (new make spirit) every year which is used in a number of different whiskies.
GLENKINCHIE
Glenkinchie lies, as the name might suggest, in a glen of the Kinchie Burn near the village of Pencaitland, East Lothian. It is situated about 15 miles from Edinburgh. Its origins date back to around 1825. The Glenkinchie label was relatively little known until 1989, when United Distillers started marketing it under their Classic Malts brand.
In 1969 the distillery stopped malting its own grain and the malting floors were turned into a museum of malt whisky.
GLENLIVET
The Glenlivet distillery is a distillery near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland that produces single malt Scotch whisky. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet. It was founded in 1824. Today, the distillery is owned by the French alcoholic beverages company Pernod Ricard and they oversee the distillery's production of 5,900,000 proof litres per annum.
Glenlivet is also used in the production of Pernod Ricard's other brands, including Chivas Regal and Royal Salute whisky brands. Glenlivet is my favorite range for miniatures.
GLENLOCHY
Glenlochy distillery, located in the Western Highlands and was founded in 1898. Has no official bottlings. Production started on the 4th of February 1901, and continued to operate until the onset of the First World War. Production resumed again in 1925, only to stop cease again a year later. In 1938 production was relaunched by Associated Scottish Distillers.

In 1983, Glenlochy was taken out of service during the big British recession for the last time.
GLENLOSSIE
After running a hotel for a few years he started John Duff & Co. with a few business partner in 1876. In the very same year they launched Glenlossie distillery. In 1971 the Mannochmore distillery was constructed next to Glenlossie. The owner of the Glenlossie distillery is Diageo.

GLENMORANGIE
Glenmorangie production of alcohol started at Morangie Farm in 1738, when a brewery was built that shared the farm's water source, the Tarlogie Spring. The distillery is owned by The Glenmorangie Company Ltd They are also owns the Ardbeg Distillery on Islay and The Scotch Malt Whisky Society based in Leith.
Fettercairn closed its malting facilities in 1960, and expanded in 1966 from one wash and one spirit still to two wash and two stills of 12,800 litres.
GLENROTHES
The Glenrothes distillery was built in 1878 by James Stuart & Co. She is beside the Burn of Rothes in the Speyside region. The Glenrothes is owned by Berry Brothers and Rudd, after being bought from the Edrington Group in 2010.
The Glenrothes is mainly matured in Spanish ex-Sherry casks, and some ex-Bourbon casks. Glenrothes whisky is known for its spicy, rich character.
GLENTAUCHERS
Glentauchers distillery is a Speyside Scottish whisky distillery, founded in 1897. It was mothballed by United Distillers in 1985, and sold to Allied Distillers in 1989. Malts from this distillery are rarely bottled, usually, the produced whisky is used in blended whiskies.

The distillery has three spirit stills and three wash stills, with a total production capacity of 4,500,000 litres of pure alcohol per year.
GLENTURRET
The Glenturret distillery is located on the banks of the Turret River two miles north west of Crieff in Perthshire, Scotland and was officially established in 1775. After 1990 Glenturret has become the home of “The Famous Grouse Experience”.
The distillery was originally known as “Hosh” and was originally owned by the Drummond family. "Hosh" comes from the gaelic "cois", meaning foot.
GLENUGIE
The Glenugie distillery was established in 1831 by Donald McLeod & Co Ltd and was originally called Invernettie. In 1983 she was closed for the final time. This was because there was too much competition at the time.

The distillery was dismantled and the premises were taken over by Score Group plc, who have built their workshops on this site.
GLENURY ROYAL
Glenury Royal (a.k.a. Glenury) was founded in 1825. Founder Robert Barclay chose a location near Stonehaven, South of Aberdeen. In 1953 Distillers Company Limited (DCL, one of the predecessors of Diageo) bought ASD and transferred the company to SMD (Scottish Malt Distillers). In 1965 the distillery was completely refurbished. Glenury Royal were closed in 1968.

The remains of Glenury Royal were sold in 1993 to a real estate company who turned part of these buildings into apartments.
