SIGNATORY

The company was founded in 1988. It's a family owned and managed company, being one of only three true independent bottlers. The name of Signatory come from the fact that their initial intention was to find someone famous to sign the labels for bottles produced from one single cask. The first cask they are purchased was 1968 Glenlivet. They often declare the cask number, date of distillation and date of bottling on the labels. Each bottle is hand numbered. They made many miniatures for collection.

Signatory owns the smallest distillery from Scotland, Edradour since 22 july 2002.

"Other" labels

In this range are included:
- Vintage - 4 bottled;
- Tasting samples - miniatures are bottled only with large bottles, as samples to them - 8 bottled;
- Silent Stills - range there should be only whiskies of closed, mothballed or dismantled distilleries - 34 bottled;
- Signatory Vintage caskstrength - range with whiskies at natural cask strength - 16 bottled;

"Big S" labels

Whiskies with "Big S" on the label. In this range are included:
- Signatory Vintage - range is filled at 43% ABV;
- Signatory Vintage caskstrength - range with whiskies at natural cask strength;
- Un-chillfiltered Collection - range contains unchill-filtered and non-coloured whiskies bottled at 46% ABV.

"S" labels

Whiskies with "S" on the label. In this range are included:
- Signatory Vintage - range is filled at 43% ABV;
- Signatory Vintage caskstrength - range with whiskies at natural cask strength;
- Un-chillfiltered Collection - range contains unchill-filtered and non-coloured whiskies bottled at 46% ABV.

"Other" labels

In this range are included:
- Scottish Wildlife - early range from Signatory – probably their first range;
- Sailing Ships-Serie - one of the early ranges of Signatory, starting in 1988 but stopped later;
- All other whisky miniatures from Signatory. Some of them haven't clear information /like The Wee Dram Blackpool/, that they are from Signatory. Some of them are Blend whiskies. If somebody know more about them will be great.

Kirsh Import - Indepenent bottler

This is an importer from Germany, who imports more than 600 sorts of whiskies. The bottlings due to the 20-year anniversary were filled at Signatory or buy from them. That is why I put them here in the range of Signatory.
